A partner, a co-manager or a trusted assistant often needs to do more than see missions on a dashboard: answer guests, adjust prices, handle a booking. Until now the only way was to share your password, which means sharing everything, with no way to see who did what and no way to take access back cleanly.
Nowistay app access replaces that. You give a team member with the Manager role the right to work in your own Nowistay app, on your properties, and you choose exactly which parts they can use. They sign in with a code sent to their email, with no password and no account of their own. You stay the account holder: billing, payouts, your account and who has access never leave your hands.
This is different from the team dashboard, which every team member keeps for their missions, and from letting a property owner ask ChatGPT or Claude, which is read-only and for the Owner role. App access is for a Manager who works alongside you.
If the member does not have the Manager role, the section shows “Add the Manager role to give app access” instead. Add the role first (edit button next to the member), then come back to this panel.

Each section you turn on becomes fully usable: the member works in it exactly as you would. These are the sections and what they open in the app.
| Section | What it opens |
|---|---|
| Messages | Inbox: read and reply to guests, AI drafts |
| Bookings & guests | Bookings (including refunds and payment links), guests, booking requests, paid extras |
| Calendar & prices | Calendar, prices, minimum stay, availability, AI Pricing |
| Properties & channels | Property settings, AI assistant, welcome guide, Q&A, channels (Airbnb, Booking.com and the others) |
| Automations | Automated messages and templates |
| Team & missions | Team members (except managers), missions, checklists |
| Performance | Dashboard: revenue, occupancy, AI briefing |
| Website | Editing your Nowistay websites |
| Integrations | Smart locks, PMS connections, PriceLabs, forms, WhatsApp sender |
Full access gives all of these at once, and automatically includes any new section Nowistay adds in the future.
A few things stay yours even inside a section the member has: in Properties & channels, the “AI needs you” alert channels and the property’s host phone number are read-only (that number receives your WhatsApp alerts and is the host contact given to guests). In Team & missions, other managers cannot be edited, only you can change a manager. In Integrations and property sync, connecting the Stripe account that receives payments stays with you.
Some things are never shared, even with Full access. Inside the app the member sees these as read-only or gets a short “Only the account holder can…” message:
In short: anything that changes the bill, moves where money is paid out, creates long-lived credentials, or changes who has access stays with you.
With Receive my alerts for these sections on, the member gets the alerts that belong to their sections (a new guest message and “AI needs you” with Messages, a new booking or payment issue with Bookings & guests, and so on). They arrive on the member’s own email, phone and devices, following their own notification settings. You keep receiving every alert exactly as before: turning this on for a member never changes your own alerts.
The member decides how they want each one delivered from their Notifications page in the app: email on or off, push on their devices, WhatsApp on their mobile. They can, for example, keep “AI needs you” by push and turn its email off. Their mission and request alerts as a team member are listed there too, read-only, since those still follow the team notification settings you choose.
If you turn Receive my alerts for these sections off, the member stops getting your section alerts but keeps their own saved choices for when you turn it back on, and their mission alerts as a team member are unchanged.
Example. You manage 30 apartments with a co-manager. You turn on Messages and Calendar & prices for them with alerts on. Now “AI needs you” reaches both of you: whoever is free replies first, on their own phone, and you are no longer the only one who can step in.
The member needs no password. In the Nowistay app access section, Sign-in link to send them holds a ready-made link (it opens the sign-in page with their email already filled in). Copy it with the copy button and send it to them.
They can also reach the sign-in in two other ways:
It works in the installed app too (they type the code there). The code is the member’s sign-in factor, so your account’s two-factor authentication does not apply to them. Every time a member signs in on a new device, you get an email letting you know, with a link to their settings.
Everything is in the same Nowistay app access section:
Whatever a member changed stays after you remove them (prices, templates, the welcome guide). Their team dashboard and any calendar link they copied keep working as before (dates and “Booked” only, no guest data); regenerate those links if you want to cut them too.
No. They sign in with their email address and a 6-digit code sent to it, the same way they reach their team dashboard. There is nothing to create for them and no password to share.
Only the Manager role. If someone also needs it, add the Manager role to them first. Cleaning, maintenance, urgency and check-in members keep their team dashboard; owners can additionally ask ChatGPT or Claude, read-only.
No. It is included in your subscription, with no extra seat or plan.
No. Billing, the Stripe payout account, your profile, your password, developer keys and who has access are never shared, even with Full access. They are shown read-only or refused in the app.
No. Signing in with their password opens their own account; signing in with an email code opens your team access. They use one at a time and sign out to switch.
No. In Team & missions a member can add and edit cleaning, maintenance, urgency, check-in and owner members, but every manager (including themselves) is locked. Only you, the account holder, can change a manager or its app access.
Only if you leave Receive my alerts for these sections on, and only for the sections you gave them. The alerts go to their own email, phone and devices with their own settings, and your own alerts are unchanged.
