Our Founder

Nowistay was founded by Bassel Abedi, an entrepreneur with a passion for combining artificial intelligence with the hospitality industry. After experiencing firsthand the challenges of managing vacation rentals — endless guest messages, language barriers, and round-the-clock communication demands — Bassel built Nowistay to solve these problems with AI. His vision: give every property manager a tireless, multilingual co-host that never sleeps.

Our Story

Nowistay was born in 2023 in France from a simple observation: vacation rental hosts spend too much time answering the same guest questions over and over. Check-in times, WiFi passwords, parking instructions, local restaurant recommendations — these repetitive inquiries consume hours every day. We built an AI co-host that understands each property's unique details and responds to guests instantly, accurately, and in their own language. Today, Nowistay serves over 300 property managers across multiple countries, processing more than 10,000 guest messages daily.

What We Do

Nowistay combines two core products: an AI Co-Host that automatically responds to guest messages on Airbnb and Booking.com 24/7 in over 90 languages, and a Digital Welcome Guide that hosts can customize for each property with check-in instructions, local recommendations, house rules, and an add-on shop for upselling services. Our AI detects emergencies like water leaks or lockouts and instantly alerts the host and team via WhatsApp or email. It also coordinates with cleaning teams for early check-in and late check-out requests — all autonomously.

Integrations

Nowistay connects directly with Airbnb and Booking.com via their official APIs. We also integrate with leading property management systems including Beds24, Smoobu, Lodgify, etc. For hosts who need a channel manager, Nowistay includes a built-in PMS.
