One of the biggest challenges for short-term rental hosts is keeping their cleaning and maintenance teams informed about upcoming arrivals, departures, and mission schedules. Nowistay solves this with a shareable mission dashboard and calendar that your team members can access instantly — no login or account needed.

How to generate and share the link

Go to the Teams section and click the 🔗 link icon next to the team member you want to share with.

A drawer opens with the share link and a QR code. You can copy the URL to send via messaging, or download the QR code to print and display in the property — whatever works best for your team.

The link is permanent and unique to each team member. It doesn't expire and doesn't require any login or account creation.

The Dashboard: your team's mission hub

When a team member opens the shared link, they land on the Dashboard tab by default. This is where they see all their upcoming missions across every property they're assigned to.

Each mission card shows key information at a glance:

  • Mission type and status — cleaning, maintenance, urgency, or custom task, along with the current status (assigned, in progress, completed, pending)
  • Scheduled date and time — with a live countdown showing “in Xh Ym” for missions coming up within the next 7 days
  • Property name — so team members managing multiple properties always know where to go
  • Number of guests — for cleaning missions, the card shows how many guests to plan for (e.g., “Plan for 4 guests — 2 adults, 2 children”), along with the booking platform (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)
  • Next guests arriving — the date and time of the next confirmed booking, even if it’s not the same day as the cleaning
  • Check-in/check-out requests — if a guest has requested an early check-in or late check-out, the team member will see the request status and the requested time
  • Cleaning fee — optionally displayed if you enable the “Show cleaning fee” setting for that team member (more on this below)

The Calendar tab

The second tab gives your team member a monthly calendar view for a specific property. If they're assigned to multiple properties, a dropdown at the top lets them switch between them.

The calendar shows bookings relevant to the team member's missions, with the booking platform and expected number of guests. Green dots on the calendar indicate days with scheduled missions.

Show or hide cleaning fees

You can choose whether each team member sees the cleaning fee amount on their mission cards. To toggle this setting, open the share drawer (click the 🔗 icon next to the team member) and switch the “Show cleaning fee on mission cards” toggle on or off.

This is a per-team-member setting, so you can show it to some team members and hide it from others depending on your workflow.

Privacy and security

The shared dashboard is designed with privacy in mind. Team members only see missions that are assigned to them or that they are eligible for. Guest personal information such as names, email addresses, and phone numbers is never displayed.

The link doesn't require any account or login — making it easy for your team to access from any device. Simply share the link or scan the QR code.
