Step 1: Create your digital welcome book

There are 3 simple ways to create your digital welcome book:

1. Use the AI Assistant (recommended)

Creating a guide? Here's what you need to know.

Some tasks handled by the AI, such as creating or translating a guide, may occasionally take more than a minute, especially for complex requests. That's completely normal and ensures high-quality results. To guide you through the process, we've implemented a clear and user-friendly system:

A full-screen window

As soon as the task begins, a modal window appears in the foreground:

• It cannot be closed manually during processing.
• It prevents interaction with the rest of the interface, to avoid errors or accidental interruptions.
• A progress bar lets you track the task in real time.
  

What if it takes too long?

As a safety measure, if the task is not completed within 7 minutes, an automatic fallback kicks in:

• A clear error message appears to inform you of the situation.
• You'll have the option to try again later, with no stress.
• You'll be automatically redirected to your property list, so you can continue using the platform smoothly.

Step 2: Choose the main language of your welcome book

By default, your welcome book is created in the language you've chosen.

This applies whether you use the AI assistant or build it manually.

If you duplicate an existing guide, the main language will be inherited from the original.

Which main language should you choose?

Pick the language in which you’ll be confortable to write the most detailed and enriched content.

This is important because the AI co-host uses this version as its main learning base to answer guest questions.

Example: If you plan to provide more in-depth local tips and personalized advice in French, select French as the main language. The AI co-host will then deliver richer, more relevant answers.

Switching main languages later? If you change the primary language (e.g., from French to English), make sure to translate the content in that language beforehand. The AI will then use the new language as its new reference.

How to change the main language

If you keep English as your main language

No action needed. Your guide is already set and ready.

If you want another language (French, Spanish, Italian, German...)

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the “Traveller Guide” tab for your property
2. At the top right, click the English flag > “Settings”
3. In the new window, activate the language you want as your primary if not already activated (French, Spanish, etc.)
4. Run the translation when proposed.
5. When the translation is done, return to the settings and click the star next to the desired main language
6. Close the translation panel
7. Click the flag again to switch into the chosen language
8. You can now launch the AI assistant in this new language

Step 3: Format your digital welcome book

The AI assistant automatically applies a clean and structured layout. But you can edit it at any time to match your needs.

How to add a YouTube video

1. Copy the video or Short URL (e.g., via the “Share” button)
   
2. Open the desired page in your guide
3. Paste the URL. The video will embed automatically!
   

Important: The video must be public or unlisted. Private videos won’t display in your guide.

Clarifications on adding images and videos

The AI ​​co-host cannot interpret the content of images and videos. Therefore, you must always describe things with text.

Describe the image or video in its caption or in a dedicated paragraph.

How to create a new Page

• Click “Add a page”
• A new page appears on the right. You can set its title, icon, and content.

Use the editor to insert:

• Text and headers
• Tables
• Ordered and unordered lists
• Checklists
• Quotes
• Dividers
• Images
• Videos

How to add an image and use the library

You can add add an image anywhere in the guide by clicking "+" and choose image in the editor. This will open your images library for you to choose or upload new image.

How to manage pages

• You can reorder pages by dragging them in the list
