Instead, you install it directly from your phone's web browser by adding app.nowistay.com to your home screen. You get a Nowistay icon on your screen, a full-screen view without browser bars, and one-tap access to your messages, calendar, and bookings.

How to install Nowistay on iPhone (iOS)

On iPhone and iPad, you need to use the Safari browser. Adding Nowistay to your home screen does not work from Chrome or other browsers on iOS.

1. Open Safari and go to app.nowistay.com. Sign in to your account if you are prompted.
2. Tap the Share button, the square icon with an arrow pointing up. On iPhone it is at the bottom center of the screen; on iPad it is at the top right.
3. In the menu that opens, scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. You will see a preview with the Nowistay name and icon. Tap Add in the top right corner.
5. The Nowistay icon now appears on your home screen. Tap it to open Nowistay full screen, like an app.

How to install Nowistay on Android

On Android, the easiest way is with the Chrome browser.

1. Open Chrome and go to app.nowistay.com. Sign in to your account if you are prompted.
2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top right corner of Chrome.

• On iPhone, you must use Safari. The Add to Home Screen option only works reliably in Safari, not in Chrome or Firefox on iOS.
• Cannot find Add to Home Screen? Make sure you are in Safari, then scroll down inside the share menu to reveal the option.
• Sign in once. The first time you open the installed app, you may need to log in again. After that, it keeps you signed in.
• No notifications on iPhone? They only work from the installed app. Open Nowistay from its home screen icon and enable notifications there, not from Safari.
