HostBuddy AI connects to your existing PMS (it lists about 20) and answers guests from the data it pulls in. Its Auto-Reply mode sends answers on its own, and HostBuddy markets "95%+ automation" for its top hosts. It also offers upsells such as gap nights, early check-in and late checkout.
Pricing per property per month is USD 7 on Pro, USD 10 on Elite and USD 12 on Ultimate, with lower rates for larger portfolios and a 14-day trial, according to hostbuddy.ai.
How Nowistay compares: HostBuddy’s price comes on top of the PMS it needs. Nowistay includes the PMS, the channel manager, the autonomous AI co-host and AI Pricing in EUR 12 per property per month. HostBuddy AI is a messaging tool only, so dynamic pricing needs another tool on top.
Besty AI plugs into 14+ PMS. Its Autopilot follows a simple rule: "When Autopilot knows the answer, it sends automatically", and it drafts a reply for review when it is not sure. Besty has grown beyond messaging, with a voice receptionist, a guest portal with ID verification, a direct booking widget, smart-lock and cleaning modules, and a Claude MCP connector. It does not publish its prices.
How Nowistay compares: Besty still needs a separate PMS and channel manager. With Nowistay they are the same product, and the price is public: EUR 12 per property per month, first month free.
Aeve’s AI agent, Eve, learns from your PMS data, past conversations and listing content, and Aeve reports 70 to 90 percent of guest messages handled on autopilot. Eve also replies to reviews, coordinates the team and sells upsells. Aeve’s pricing page shows USD 12.80 per listing per month on its standard 12-month contract and prices portfolios above 100 listings on request; it does not advertise a free trial.
How Nowistay compares: Aeve needs a separate PMS and a yearly commitment. Nowistay is billed monthly, includes the PMS and channel manager, and its price falls to EUR 8 per property from 100 properties.
Enso Connect bundles digital guidebooks, guest verification, upsells, smart-lock access and AI messaging. Its AutoPilot is marketed as resolving guest messages 24/7 with "no review needed", and Enso’s help center labels it beta. Smart locks and background checks are paid add-ons, and pricing is quoted on request.
How Nowistay compares: Enso sits on top of a PMS and channel manager you still need. Nowistay’s AI co-host is autonomous by default inside the PMS itself, at a published price.
Conduit started as HostAI, an AI platform for short-term rentals, and now also serves hotels. It reports that 96 of every 100 guest messages are resolved without the operator touching them, and its plans include voice AI. Published prices run from USD 18 to USD 48 per unit per month depending on the suite, with a Startup plan at USD 899 per month for up to 25 units and no implementation fee.
