When you manage a short-term rental like an Airbnb, there is one place where you spend a huge amount of time every day: the propertyâs booking calendar. It needs to be clear and simple enough so that, at a glance, youâas a host or property managerâcan instantly see who is arriving or leaving, when, how many guests there will be, and where the booking comes from (Airbnb, Booking.com, direct booking, VRBO, Abritel, etc.).
Even more importantly, this calendar must be easy to share with your cleaning and maintenance teams so they can work autonomously and know exactly what they need to do and when. Team communication is essential to avoid any issues with guestsâmissed cleanings, maintenance disturbing a guest, and so on.
This is exactly what Nowistay offers with its optimized calendar. Hereâs how to access it.
1/ You must have created a property and activated your AI co-host.
2/ If you connected your property using PMS mode, thereâs nothing else to do. You can move on to the next section, âView the booking calendar.â
3/ If you connected your property in Direct mode (Airbnb, Booking): retrieve your propertyâs iCal link from Airbnb.
From Host mode, go to âCalendarâ, then click the property on the left side. On the right panel, click âAvailability settingsâ, then scroll down to âSync calendarsâ and select âImport calendar.â In Step 1, click âCopyâ to retrieve the iCal link.
â

4/ Go back to your Nowistay properties and click the âAI Assistantâ button. In the âEnrichmentâ section, paste the URL into the âiCal Calendar URLâ field. Then click âSave.â

The calendar and reservations are continuously updated. To view it, go to the Calendar section in the left-hand menu.
You will then see the calendar for each property on a single line, along with the reservations, including the guestâs first and last name when available (PMS mode only).
If you click on a reservation, youâll see all the details: arrival date, departure date, number of adults and children, and the booking source (Airbnb, Booking, Direct, etc.).

Sharing the calendar with your cleaning or maintenance team couldnât be easier.Simply click the âShareâ icon next to the property name.

You can then copy the guide URL and share it with your teams. A QR code is also available, which you can download and display if needed.
Access to the shared calendar does not require an account or loginâjust share the link. However, for privacy reasons, reservations will not display personal information such as the guestâs first or last name.
â

The calendar offers both a traditional calendar view and a list view. Each reservation shows the booking platform and the expected number of guests.

Finally, your AI co-host has access to your calendar, making it even more capable of answering questions about availability or handling requests such as early check-ins or late check-outs.
